This design and build project provides 25,000 square feet of new storage space.

The existing site was cleared and existing slabs were site crushed and re-used with our environmental impacts in mind and to reduce costs for the client. The new building is a traditionally built steel framed and clad structure including aluminium windows, insulated access doors and jumbo stud fire separating walls.

The original contract was not phased but we were able to accommodate a phased handover as the client managed to secure an early tenant for one of the two units.

External works followed, consisting of 21,000 square feet of structural concrete hard standings, a 2,000 square foot road widening scheme to provide a HGV lay by and 120,000 square feet of landscaping, planting and grassed areas.

The contract was completed in 24 weeks and under budget.
